There can be only 10. That is, we didn't care about anybody else's opinions when it came to posting the Top 10 "Gangsta" movies of all time so we just went ahead and now we are presenting our Top 10 Gangster flix. We dare anyone, anywhere to give us a good reason why any of the films below do not belong in a Top 10 listing or to suggest one that is not on the list, that should be on the list. Go ahead. We dare you.      

The Top 10 Gangster Movies Of All Time

"First you get the money, then you get the power, then you get the respect". But first you gotta add Scarface to your collection. Absolute classic. It beats out The Godfather because its more gritty and dirty. 5 Stars! 
We have a theory that the way things are done in the Godfather kinda resembles the way things are done in the real world. Just think about it. Don't some of the so called "authorities" and "big guys" operate like the Corleones? 5 Stars for this masterpiece.
Kinda felt sorry for Carlito in the end. I mean Sean Penn's character was a real douche. Lots of people like him in the world unfortunately. This movie is intense. 5 Stars!
This movie just shows you that, in the end, it's gonna be every man for himself. Although maybe if Henry had listened to Pauly he would be ok. you my say you hate Rats and Snitches , but if you were HEnry what would you do? 5 Stars!
Lefty is perhaps the coolest gangster ever. But then again Al Pacino always makes his characters cool. I mean, just look at how lefty took off his jewelry, kissed his wife and just went off to die. Gotta love it! 5 Stars! 
This one gets 5 Stars because it is the true story of Frank Rosenthal and Tony Spilotro brought to life. Great acting and some genius work by Scorcese. 
Already had this listed as one our Top 10 Action films. Same sentiments. Same ratings. 5 Stars!  
Think I fell in love with Uma Thurman in this movie. Rumor is that Quentin did as well. LOL. Great story line. Excellent sequencing. Sam Jackson kicked ass with his bible verses. People tend to give John Travolta a lot of props for this film but we think Samuel L Jackson and the "wolf" made this movie. 5 Stars!  
We have a lot of Eastern Europen friends who tell us tales of the gangs and mafia back home. Fact is, these guys are waay tougher than the so called "bosses" we have, or had, in the US. This movie showed us a glimpse of that. And the story revolves around one of the most lucrative underworld rackets in the world. 5 Stars! 
Possibly the best gangster film you've never heard of. 1949 baby! an old classic. Full of twists and turns and mother loving criminals. This movie made me a fan of James Gaigney and the work of director Raoul Walsh. 5 Stars!
